LEMANIA Royal Air Force Chronograph Uranium Luminescent Paint

Generally, radium and tritium versions are used, but this time a "phosphorous luminescent compound" is used.

The difference between P and P is that P is made of uranium.

You have probably heard of uranium glass, that green glass.

That green glass glows green because it contains uranium.

So this phosphorous compound, which is uranium, was a better luminous paint than radium.

However, it was actually only slightly better, and was replaced by tritium because the radioactive substance emitted was the same.

Therefore, the Lemania chronograph with the round P mark is a watch that replaced the radium for a brief moment in the book while the radium was replaced by tritium.

Maybe, but I don't think anyone has one of these watches, because I am sure that none of them ever came into Japan.

I knew this round P existed, but I never thought I would actually be able to hold it in my hands, so I was really glad I went to England.

Looking at the back cover, there is a naval code HS↑9 with a strikeout and a code 0552 above it, so you can see that the supplier was changed from the Navy to the Air Force.

There are two types of lugs, one is a spring-bar type and the other is a spring-bar type, which makes it easier to replace the belt.
