The dial was originally black, but has turned brown (tropical) with age.

In Japan, Junghans is probably best known for its wall clocks, but they also manufactured wristwatches, and because of their reliability, they also delivered watches to the German military.

The appeal of this watch is that the chronograph pointer is in the shape of a spear, with red markers only in that area, and the hands are gold, the opposite color of the dial.

This is a design not seen in Swiss watches and is fresh and beautiful ✨.

Overhaul

Overhauled by a watchmaker on July 3, 2022.

Condition

There is an area where the underlying brass can be seen on the buttons.

There is a pimple at the 5 o'clock position.

There is a slight withering at the edge of the dial.

These and others are hardly noticeable when actually worn on the wrist, and are a taste of its age.
