Lemania One-Push Chronograph Military Watch Third Model 15CHT (cal.2220) Royal Air Force 6BB

Lemania boasts a rich history of providing watches to the British Army, among other militaries around the world.

These Lemania single pusher chronographs were issued to RAF pilots and were produced for around 20 years, from the 50s until the early 70s, in small numbers and are now extremely sought after.

At the time, Lemania was considered the world's best manufacturer of chronographs, and supplied movements to manufacturers such as Omega and Patek Philippe.

In short, this watch represented the pinnacle of watchmaking at the time.

This Lemania chronograph is a Series 3, issued to Air Force pilots in 1967.

The Series 3 Monopusher is the most popular model among Lemania chronographs, thanks to its excellent movement and large 40mm asymmetrical case.

The movement is the famous column wheel Lemania 2220.

The monopusher side is thickened to prevent the pusher stalk from bending.
