THIS IS A STUNNING VINTAGE 1962 GENTS ROLEX PRECISION WRISTWATCH IN 9K SOLID YELLOW GOLD.
DESCRIPTION.
This is a beautiful example of a gents Rolex Precision made in 1962. It comes with its original Rolex guarantee booklet what now days is a rare find.
The 9k solid yellow gold 33.5mm case is in extremely good condition with very light age related wear.
The original cream dial has been restored to the highest possible standard and simply looks gorgeous. The dial has raised gold batons with large gold dauphine hands. This is a wonderful example of a 9k gold Rolex Precision.
The super high grade Rolex Precision, 18 Jewels movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
To complete this fantastic piece, we've put it on a new high quality Hirsch strap and gold plated buckle.
CASE.
The 9k solid yellow gold case is in very good condition The case measures 33.5mm across without the winding crown and 38.5mm long including the lugs.
Inside the case back all the marks are correct as expected: D.S&S ( David Shackman & Sons who were case makers for Rolex through the 1950s & 60s) and fully hallmarked 0.375 for 9k solid gold.
DIAL.
The stunning original cream dial has been restored to the highest possible standard and looks simply gorgeous. It has raised gold batons with gold dauphine hands. It oozes that 1960s charm and elegance.
The dial is signed: Rolex, Precision, Swiss.
MOVEMENT.
The high grade gighteen Jewels movement is in very good condition and has been fully serviced. The movement is signed: Montres Rolex S.A. 18 seventeen Jewels.
STRAP.
To finish this beautiful watch off, it comes on a new, high quality Hirsch leather strap.
THE BOX & PAPERS.
Like most vintage wristwatches what are over 30 years old the original certificate and box has been lost or discarded over the years. But even though this watch does not have its original box or certificate. This watch, the reference numbers, markings, signatures and hallmarks are all correct, dating the watch to circa 1962.
