Excellent design with a touch of craftsmanship

The Crosswind, with a case design that is slightly larger than the Chronomat, with a diameter of 44 mm and a thickness of 15.5 mm, is characterized above all by its sophisticated styling. The dial has a beautiful surface finish called guilloche processing, and the indexes have large Roman numerals, and the rider tabs and crown design on the bezel also accentuate the overall look. Despite its elegant atmosphere, the heart of the watch is equipped with the Breitling 13 movement, which is renowned for its robustness. In addition, the indexes and a total of six hands are coated with white tritium to improve visibility in the dark. The bold date display is both functional and unique.

The Crosswind Special is a model that boldly places the date display at 12 o'clock, instead of the usual 3 o'clock position or halfway between 4 and 5 o'clock, and furthermore, makes it easier to read by using separate disks for the tens and ones digits. This chronograph equipped with a large date display mechanism has three subdials: a 30-minute counter, a 12-hour counter, and a second hand, and all of the hands are coated with luminous paint. There are many other notable points regarding functionality. For example, the large push buttons and crown, the Pilot Special bracelet exclusive to this model, and the fact that it is water resistant to 100 meters are not to be missed.
