Vintage Rolex watch Oyster Precision "Oversize" 36mm S/STEEL 1966
This is a fine example of the Rolex Oyster Precision oversized 36mm watch produced in 1966.
The stainless steel case is in good condition, with minor signs of aging.
The original silver dial, with no signs of restoration, looks gorgeous.
The dial features a steel dagger baton and a steel dagger hand.
This watch exudes an elegant and classic feel.
The high-grade 17 jewel hand-wound movement is fully serviced by a watchmaker.
To complement this fine watch, it is fitted with a brand new, high quality Hirsch strap with a steel buckle.
Case
The stainless steel case is in very good condition with only very light signs of aging.
The case is a steel Rolex Oyster screw-down crown and 43mm including the lugs, 36mm without them.
All signatures inside the caseback are correct (Montres Rolex SA Geneva Switzerland, Patented, Stainless Steel and model reference number 6424.).
Dial
The stunning original unrestored silver sunburst dial looks gorgeous and is in beautiful condition.
The dial is legible (Rolex Oyster Precision, Swiss.).
Movement
High grade manual 17 jewel movement is in very good condition and has been fully maintained.
The movement is inscribed (Montres Rolex SA, Geneva Swiss, 17 jewels.).
The movement has been fully serviced by a watchmaker.

It has been fitted with a new high quality Hirsch strap and steel buckle to complement this fine watch.
Boxes & Papers
As with most vintage watches over 40 years old, the original certificate and box have been lost or discarded over the years.
However, even though this watch does not have the original box or certificate, the reference number, markings, signature and hallmarks are all correct, indicating that it was made circa 1966.
