Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Ref.1052 Zephyr Dial 1970s 14K model 😊

I occasionally see it in combination with stainless steel, but it's rare to see a case made entirely of 14K, so I did my best to get it 👍

This watch was made about 50 years ago, but it doesn't feel old at all and is a very cool watch.

In fact, it's a design that isn't found in modern Rolexes, so it really feels one of a kind.

The dial has cross lines and is called a Zephyr dial.

The inclusion of this line gives the dial a balanced and sophisticated look.

Also, if you look at the bezel, you will see that the hour and minute indications are decorated with bar decorations reminiscent of a sector dial.

The Zephyr is in the center with sectors on the periphery creating a more unified look.

The dial is champagne gold, and the case is also gold, so some people may find it gaudy, but in fact it's not like that at all.

The champagne color is quite subdued, and best of all, the case is made of 14K, so there's no glare and it gives off a calm impression.

I think it's better to think of it as something different from 18K.

The movement is Cal. 1570, Rolex's signature perpetual automatic movement.

Because it is an Oyster Date, the case diameter is 34mm, which is right in the middle of the small wristwatches that have become popular recently.

It is currently undergoing an overhaul, so detailed photos will be uploaded once it returns, but if anyone would like to get a hold of one sooner, please feel free to let us know.

I plan to return in early May.
