Vintage Heuer Carrera "45" Chronograph ref.3647s

This is a vintage Heuer Carrera "45" chronograph ref.3647s.

In 1963, Ed Heuer introduced the first Heuer Carrera at the Basel Fair, a three-register chronograph, Reference 2447, named after the Carrera Panamericana, an extremely dangerous race through Mexico.

Shortly thereafter, Heuer introduced the two-register chronograph "Heuer 45" and the Reference 3647s.

This brilliant simplicity has made the Heuer Carrera an iconic model all around.

This very attractive Carrera 45 is powered by the Valjoux 92, which is a version of the classic Valjoux 72 but without the index function.

The well-proportioned two-hand silver dial embodies Heuer's vision and looks incredibly contemporary for a watch designed 60 years ago.

Whether you're dressing up or not, this model has got your back.

Overall this Heuer is in very nice vintage condition.
The dial is in beautiful condition.
The case has some scratches overall, but no major damage.

The rugs are also clean and shiny.
The windshield is original but has some small scratches.
The crown and push buttons are original.
The needle is in good condition.
