Rolex Rectangular Hand-wound Vintage Watch

This is a vintage Rolex Rectangular hand-wound watch.

It is a rectangular shape that was popular in the Art Deco era.

It is not a normal shape and the lugs have different parts of variable type.

The size of the dial alone is 22.3mm in width and 30.4mm in length, which is not too large and gives a sense of elegance.

However, the presence of another part of variable type (four feet on the sides) makes it more three-dimensional, and the wind shield is about 2 mm thick, which makes it seem larger than usual.

It seems to me that all of this was probably calculated to make the size of the watch feel larger than usual.

It seems to have been made for the American market, a characteristic of this period.

The movement is equipped with FHF Caliber 59 (Fontemelon) and has "ROLEX GENEVE" engraved on the dial side.

The case is also engraved with RWC, which stands for Rolex Watch Company.

As you can see, the case has been carefully polished, and the movement has no incabloc, which gives the impression of age.

The dial is the popular black dial with minute track.

The watch is approximately 100 years old and has some minor scratches and some parts where the base metal is visible, but it is rare to find a watch in such good condition, so why not take this opportunity to own one?
