The untouched, original dial exudes 1940s style and charm.

The back of the case shows some signs of age, but is in good condition.

The original (unrestored) dial, in excellent condition, features flat rose gold baton hands with matching hands.

Case

The stainless steel "boys size" case is in good condition for its age, and although it does have some scratches, is in pretty good condition considering its age.

All engravings on the case back are accurate.

This was originally a men's watch, but in modern times it would be considered a boys' or ladies' size.

Dial

Usually the dials of this model of watch are altered, but this dial is completely original.

The dial is signed (Rolex Oyster Speed ​​King, Precision, Swiss Made).

Movement

High grade hand-wound 17 jewel movement in very good condition and fully maintained. Movement is signed (Rolex Precision, 17 Rubies, Swiss Made, Patented Super Balance).

It also has an original Rolex crown.

This watch has been maintained but as it is a vintage watch it may vary by up to 30 seconds over 24 hours.

Comes with a new high quality leather strap.

Box and accessories

As with most vintage watches over 70 years old, the certificate and box have been lost or discarded over the years.

However, even though this watch does not have the original box or certificate, all the reference numbers, markings, signatures and hallmarks are correct.

This dates the watch to circa 1946.
