Vintage Rolex Air King Explorer 9/3/6/Dial circa 1970😊
This model of the Air King features a rare and desirable Explorer-type dial.
The stainless steel 34mm Oyster case is in excellent condition.
The original, unaltered dial features raised steel 3/6/9 numerals and steel baton hands.
To complement this watch, it is fitted with a new high quality Hirsch leather strap.
Case
The stainless steel case has some light wear due to age, but is in very good condition.
All markings on the inside of the caseback are correct (Montres Rolex SA, Geneva, Switzerland, Stainless Steel, 1002 and date (I 70) the production date for the first quarter of 1970).
Dial
The dial is untouched and original, exuding elegance.
The dial is signed (Rolex Oyster Perpetua, Air-King, Precision, T Swiss T.)
Movement
Very high grade 26 fine ruby movement is in very good condition and fully serviced.
The movement is signed (Rolex Geneva Swiss, 26 rubies.).
The movement has been fully serviced by our watchmakers.

To complement this beautiful timepiece, it is fitted with a new, high quality Hirsch leather strap.
Box and accessories
As with most vintage watches over 60 years old, the original certificate and box have been lost or discarded over the years.
However, despite the lack of the original box or certificate, this watch has all the correct reference numbers, markings, signatures and hallmarks, proving it to date to circa 1970.
