A beautiful WW1 military Rolex watch.
This Rolex model may have been sold to British military personnel during World War I.
It is in very good condition for being over 100 years old.
The original enamel dial exudes military style and charm.
Fine Rolex 15 jewel movement has been fully serviced by a watchmaker in the last 3 months.
Note: Even after servicing, clocks of this vintage will still have an error of about 2 minutes per 24 hours, but this is within the acceptable range for a 100-year-old clock.
Comes with a new high quality leather strap.
Case
The silver case is in good condition considering its age.
The case size is 31mm wide and 38mm long excluding the crown.
The rose-colored winding crown is still present.
On the inside of the caseback, all markings are expected to be correct.

This is one of two for sale that are the exact same model and appear to have been manufactured around the same time as the serial numbers are very close.

As with many vintage watches that are over 70 years old, the original certificate of authenticity has been lost or discarded over the years.

The reference number, mark, signature and hallmark are all correct, dating it to circa 1916.
